SensorCom, Inc. and Raytheon have signed a teaming agreement for the development of a upgrade to the AN/SQS-56 and DE-1170 Sonars. The cornerstone of the new sonar will be the SensorCom Kingfisher Mod-2 Shallow water and small object avoidance sonar. The SensorCom Kingfisher Mod-2 is currently deployed on US Navy FFGs.
