Due to the success of SeaPort, NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP and SPAWAR have allied to form SeaPort Enhanced, (SeaPort-e); and have designated SeaPort-e as the vehicle of choice for the procurement of future contractor support services. The mission of the US Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development, and Engineering Center (CERDEC) Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (CERDEC I2WD) is to guarantee the American warfighter and coalition forces the information dominance needed on today’s battlefield. CERDEC I2WD develops and supports effective intelligence and information warfare tools that provide enemy situation awareness, targeting, and electronic combat technology to our troops through technology development and insertion, prototype demonstration, and operational system support. This system support includes development, prototyping, and fielding of equipment and systems for strategic, tactical, intelligence, and counter-drug needs, as well as development and prototyping of tactical systems in support of the Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) Program Executive Offices (PEO), their Product Managers (PM) and various other Department of Defense agencies.
